Places to Visit in Milan

San Siro Tour & Museum

The San Siro Tour & Museum is the only museum within a football stadium in Italy although this is commonplace in other countries such as England. The exhibits within the museum are all from the private collection of Onorato Arisi. The Museum was first opened in 1996 in order to celebrate the history and future of both AC Milan and Inter Milan. Among the many exhibits are jerseys from famous players such as Pele, Maradona and Zidane along with everything else you could think of.

After visiting the Museum you will get a chance to see and absorb one of the World's greatest stadiums, a stadium that can hold 84,000 people all seated and has been home to some of the most headed derbies between AC Milan and Inter Milan not to mention many of the world's greatest players who have graced this pitch.

Palazzo Borromeo

This palace which dates back to the fifteenth century is located in the center of Milan. Although the palace was massively damaged during WWII, today most of the damage has been repaired. If you are a fan of art and architecture this is well worth paying a visit.

Palazzo Marino

The Marino Palace was designed by the architect Galeazzo Alessi in 1558 from Tommaso Marino, a banker in Milan at the time. The building of the palace was not finished until 1892 and has served as the Town Hall for Milan since 1860.
